The Lowdown

Finding a cheap Glasgow hotel doesn't mean sacrificing too much in the way of quality. There are plenty of them dotted around every part of the City offering affordable prices for really good accommodation.

To be perfectly frank (I thought my name was Scott?...), a cheap or budget Glasgow hotel has a greater chance of fitting more into the psyche of the City than the bigger, more luxurious ones on offer, basically because the vast majority of us living here are working or middle class so can't afford to stay in anything other than the more affordable hotels in Glasgow.

Not that we'll take offence if you're lording it over us in the ivory towers you splash your cash on while you're here. We'll just sit outside with our pickets and cardboard signs howling at you when you step onto the street.

OK, just kidding there!

So here it is. I've drawn up this list based firstly on those I've stayed in myself, secondly from the reviews I've received from visitors who've let me know how great their time in Glasgow was, and thirdly from some of the top tourist industry websites doing the rounds.
