I am committed to safeguarding your privacy online. I use the information I collect about you to help me understand more about how my site is used and to be able to send you communications about Top-Ten-Glasgow-Guide.com and Glasgow that may be of interest to you, either electronically or otherwise. Your IP address may vary each time you visit, or it may be the same, depending on whether you access my site through an always-on type of Internet connection or through a dial-up connection. Your IP address does not reveal or collect personal information, and it is not my intent to know or use this. All of this information is used only in the aggregate, in other words it is entered into my database, where I use it to generate overall reports on my visitors, but not individual reports. This information is also collected for quality assurance to my advertisers.

Who is collecting your information?
When you are in my website and are asked for personal information, you are sharing that information with me alone unless stated otherwise.

With whom do you share your information?
As a general rule, I will not disclose any of your personally identifiable information, except when I have your permission or under special circumstances, such as when I believe in good faith that the law requires it. And what about Google Cookies?
Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies to serve adverts on my site. Google's use of what's called 'the DoubleClick DART cookie' enables it to serve ads to users based on their visit to websites. Basically, the cookie means that use is being made by third-party advertising companies to serve adverts when you visit my site. W3C Compliance

The W3C (World Wide Web Consortium) has issued various guidelines on the user accessibility of websites online. I have attempted to ensure that my site complies with many of the guidelines, by providing amongst many things much in the way of text equivalent content and clear navigation, by refraining from the use of unnecessary 'technological wizardry' to stylise the site, and by using 'alt' tags for my images.

However, I have not provided a fully text-only version of my site, and you may very well find other aspects of my site which you believe do not comply with the W3C Guidelines.
